Countdown to Level in Brighton re-opening
5:30pm Wednesday 10th July 2013 in News
The sun is blazing and the scene is almost set for the reopening of a multimillionpound city attraction.
The Level in Brighton will open to the public again on Friday, July 26, after a restoration project worth around £2.2 million – funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
The park’s new facilities will include a controversial skate area, a new playground, the restoration of two pavilions and new fountains.
The new makeover aims to restore The Level’s original 1920s design for the southern half of the park.
Brighton and Hove City Council is planning a community celebration event for its official opening in September 2013.
