Two found dead in Bognor flat
11:06am Saturday 13th July 2013 in News
A man and a woman have been found dead in a flat.
Police were called in Park Road, Bognor, at 3.40pm yesterday where they found the bodies of a 30-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man.
The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained and the coroner’s office has been informed.
Police went to the property after receiving a call from a friend and recovered two bodies from the building.
A hazardous response team from South East Coast Ambulance service attended the property last night but checks have not uncovered any noxious materials and there has been no need to evacuate neighbouring properties.
A Sussex Police spokesowman said: "Their deaths are currently being treated as unexplained and at this stage are not being treated as suspicious but due to the presence of a chemical related to one or both of the bodies the police and coroners office are continuing to investigate the cause of death."
Do you know the couple or did you see anything yesterday?
