Police divers find stolen goods in River Ouse

Police divers searching a river have discovered items believed stolen in a burglary.
The theft took at Hamsey, near Lewes, on Friday and was discovered at 3.24pm when the householder returned home and discovered the break-in.
Cash, computer equipment, jewellery and medals were taken.
About ten minutes later, a car was stopped at a service station in Malling Street, Lewes, and two men and a boy were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Divers from Sussex Police's Specialist Search Unit found items believed to have been stolen during a search of the River Ouse near the Phoenix Causeway bridge in Lewes earlier today.
A 23-year-old man from Uckfield, a 22-year-old man from Maresfield and a 16-year-old boy from Hailsham have been questioned and released on bail until August 22.
