Bike hub set for approval outside Brighton station
1:10pm Wednesday 17th July 2013 in News
A cycle hub outside a train station is set to get the go ahead.
Southern has applied to build a three-storey building on an unused site to the north-east of Brighton station.
It would be used for the storage of 500 bicycles, plus a cycle shop, café, cycle repair outlet and cycle hire, as well as changing and shower facilities.
Brighton and Hove City Council planning officers have recommended that the proposal is approved. A decision will be taken at a meeting of the local authority’s planning committee today in Hove Town Hall.
