Not been a jolly Traffic Watch this evening, but it puts delays and road closures into perspective when somebody tragically loses their life.

Lots of disruptions around Clapham Junction too - passenger taken ill.
You're looking at delays of 40 minutes.
Looks like the A21 will stay closed until 7pm.
Still slow on the A27 westbound. A mere 11mph according to the Highways Agency. Hope you've got something good on the radio.
One overturned vehicle on the A21 southbound between the juction for the A262 and the A265 - you're looking at an additional 30 minute delay there.
Another overturned vehicle on the A21 northbound between the A2100 north of Battle and the A265 - again, you're looking at an extra 30 minutes to your journey.
A21 is worth avoiding tonight at all costs.
Two more overturned vehicles added to the earlier incident where a 66-year-old Battle woman sadly died.

Anyone heading towards Clapham Junction - Southern rail is reporting 15 minute delays in the area. Hopefully it'll be cleared for anyone setting off now by the time you get in the vicinity.
Not nice news from the A21 incident - a 66-year-old woman has died following the collision between her car and two HGVs.
The A21 is still closed and there is still a lane closed southbound on the A23 at Handcross.
Hope the car's not too hot for those of you who are stuck in delays.
This just in - and it's bad news for anyone expecting friends from Europe via Eurostar - the 18:00 Ashford International to Rye has been cancelled due to a fault on the train.

You're looking at a grim 19mph on the A27 Westbound through Eastbourne.

Handcross – accident Northbound A23 - a vehicle has struck the central reservation and one lane blocked by a broken down vehicle Southbound.
West Chiltington - Gay Street blocked both ways due to a 2 vehicle accident at Stream Lane
Coldean - one lane blocked by a broken down car on the Westbound A27 between Lewes Road and A23 at Patcham
Battle - Telham Lane closed both ways due to an accident at Powdermill Lane
Selmeston - A27 partly blocked Westbound by a broken down car at Common Lane / Bopeep Lane
Broken down vehicle on the A27 westbound between the junctions for the A23 and and A210 Brighton East.
Adding to the predictable heavy traffic on the dual carriageway - delays of up to 20 minutes.
The A21 is currently closed - overturned vehicle on the road.
Accident investigation team are carrying out their duties and the road isn't expected to be open again until 6:30pm.
If you can avoid the area at all tonight - do it.

Big distruptions on the A21 in Hurst Green after a serious accident earlier today.
Happened around midday - so it sounds a nasty one.
