A27 near Shoreham will not be fully opened until tomorrow, police say
The A27 is not expected to fully open until tomorrow.
Police have just confirmed one lane of the eastbound carriageway, where the collision occurred, will be closed until Friday.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "At 5.30pm it is hoped that the eastbound carriageway will reopen if the scene can be cleared.
"One lane westbound is hoped to reopen at 6pm but it will not be until the early hours of the morning at least before it fully reopens as the central barrier must first be repaired.
The A27 is closed between Hangleton and Holmbush.
