Accountant Garry Hacker jailed for three years
An accountant who stole more than £235,000 has today been jailed.
Garry Hacker, 50, of Lenham Avenue, Saltdean, was today jailed for three years having admitted one count of fraud by breach of trust and one of obtaining funds by deception.
Hacker was condemned by Judge Anthony Scott-Gall at Lewes Crown Court who said he had lived a “grotesque lie”.
He siphoned the funds between 2001 and 2010 while working at Hove-based Chantrey Vellacott, where he rose to the position of partner.
