Work has begun to lay a new gas pipe in the Duncombe Road/Cemetery Road area of Bradford.
The pipe, connecting the Farmer’s Boy food manufacturing plant to the mains network, will be carried out in two phases and is scheduled for completion by the end of the month.
The first phase of the work, in Duncombe Road, is expected to have minimum impact on traffic in the area.
The second phase takes place in Cemetery Road, beginning in mid-August. It means closing one lane on Cemetery Road and putting a short traffic diversion in place.
During this time there will also be restricted access to the Farmer’s Boy site.
For more information about the works, contact the Northern Gas Networks Connections team on 0870 300 7677 and speak to Industrial and Commercial, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.
