Could you be a Euromillions winner without knowing it? Unclaimed ticket in Brighton and Hove
Could you be the mystery millionaire who scooped a whopping £1 million in the EuroMillions?
One unsuspecting EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle player from Brighton and Hove is sitting on a winning ticket but is yet to come forward and claim their jackpot prize.
Today (FRI) a Euromillions Butler will be on Brighton seafront urging the city's players to double and triple check their tickets to see if it bears the unique EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle code BZP410507.
The missing millionaire is one of 100 winners, whose lucky numbers came up in the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle draw on July 26.
In total 13 people have yet to come forward and claim their prizes.
Since the numbers were drawn, 87 winners have claimed their money but Brighton and Hove's most recent winner is apparently still oblivious to his or her fortune.
A National Lottery spokesman said: “It's exciting to know that someone in Brighton and Hove is walking round not knowing they are a millionaire.
“We urge every player to check their tickets as there is a life changing prize just waiting to be claimed.
“The clock is now ticking for the ticket-holder and we want to get the prize into their bank account so they can start enjoying their win as soon as possible.
“Missing tickets have turned up in some strange places so check in the bottom of your handbag, in every coat pocket, even have a rummage down the back of your sofa - the ticket could be lurking anywhere.”
Players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket.
Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
The spokesman added: “This draw has been life changing for 87 UK ticketholders already and we are desperate to find our missing millionaire from Brighton and Hove.”
The EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle draw is hoping to beat last year's record set by The National lottery to create the most millionaires in one night.
On the night of the Opening Ceremony of the London Olympics, 100 players won £1 million, 97 of which came forward to claim their prize.
