Bredwardine fete raised £1750 for the local church on a gloriously sunny afternoon, with a large crowd watching a thrilling display by Hawksdrift Falconry and enjoying all the stalls and games of a traditional village fete. First prize in the raffle, a mountain bike generously donated by Drover Cycles of Hay-on-Wye, was won by Mrs Temperance Price from Preston-on-Wye.
