With video: Man waxes legs as part of fundraising effort for Hove charity
10:30am Tuesday 13th August 2013 in News
This brave man went through a hairy moment to raise cash for charity.
Luca Rees bared his shins and had his legs waxed on Sunday prior to his epic charity cycle ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
The super-fit fundraiser is taking on the gruelling cycle route, which is nearly 1,000 miles long, to support the Clic Sargent charity at The Cliftonville Inn in George Street, Hove.
But he won’t be alone – his father Quiller will be joining him for every mile of the challenge later this month.
Mr Rees said: “It’s for a wonderful cause to help children and young people who have cancer.”
