Prince's Trust programme executive Wilf Nicholls helps young people on a daily basis with practical and financial support they need to move into work, education or training.
Yesterday the Trust revealed how one in five city youngsters expect to end up on benefits.
With A-level results looming more than a third of youngsters (35 per cent) felt if they failed their exams they would not find a job.
The Prince's Trust is calling for more vocational support for less academic youngsters.
It runs courses for disadvantaged school leavers with three in four moving into work, education or training.
