Katie Price gives birth to son eight weeks early

Former Patcham High pupil Katie Price has given birth to a son called Jett Riviera eight weeks early by Caesarean section, it has been reported.
The glamour model, 35, gave birth to a 5lb 2oz boy last week in a foreign hospital after she developed a potentially lifethreatening infection, The Sun on Sunday said.
Katie said the baby’s heart rate was found to be “really low” during a family holiday and medical staff quickly informed her she was to have a C-section.
The businesswoman, who married Brighton-based Kieran Hayler, 26, earlier this year, said she was “in a state” and “crying my eyes out”.
Katie said the C-section was different to the experience she had when giving birth to her children Junior and Princess – her children with ex-husband Peter Andre.
“Bringing life into the world is supposed to be magical. But what I went through was a nightmare,” she told the newspaper.
Katie, who lives near Horsham and grew up in Brighton, said her new baby was taken away from her when he was born, and this made her feel “crushed”.
“I wanted to be near my baby,” she said, adding: “The only thing that got me through the nightmare was the thought of cradling my little boy.”
The Sun on Sunday said it could be three weeks before Jett is released from hospital, and Katie spends her days in hospital with him while staying in a nearby villa in the evenings.
In June, Katie said she was having a rough time with the pregnancy.
“It’s the worst pregnancy I’ve had – lots of problems with being anaemic, low platelets, a lot heavier than I was before – but it’s the fourth one so I know what to expect,” she said.
