The girlfriend of London Olympics stuntman Mark Sutton, who died after skydiving into an Alps ridge at 150mph, has paid tribute to his kindness.
Victoria Homewood, of Haywards Heath, is understood to have been with Mr Sutton when he died in a skydive on Wednesday after he flew at 150mph into a ridge in the Swiss Alps.
Mr Sutton performed at the Olympic opening ceremony as James Bond – skydiving into the arena and delighting billions.
In a statement to the Daily Telegraph, Miss Homewood, 39, said: “For those few moments in the media spotlight the world saw the immensely gifted professional and brilliant man who has been tragically snatched away from us.
“Mark was the most loving and loyal man, utterly selfless in all he did. His patience and kindness touched many people’s lives.
“He was passionate about life, nature, mountains and the sky. We sorely miss him.” Miss Homewood, who has also changed her profile picture on Facebook to herself and Mr Sutton, spoke about the incident at the time.
She said: “My very handsome 007.
