Heather Mills-McCartney, Pete Bennett and The Ordinary Boys have turned Brighton and Hove in to a hotspot for internet searches.

The celebrities topped the polls for the "most searched"

people in Britain this year on the Yahoo! website.

Heather Mills-McCartney, whose profile has rocketed thanks to her split with ex- Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, was the most searched for female.

She was just ahead of fellow Hove resident Chantelle Houghton, who lives with husband Sam Preston from the Ordinary Boys.

Big Brother winner Pete Bennett, from Brighton, was the fifth most searched for male and the Ordinary Boys were top of the poll for musical acts.
