I AGREE with Christine (Globe Mailbox, August 21), that Wirral is overloaded with litter of every kind, but think it unreasonable to blame the council for this.
If the waste bins were emptied every day there would still be waste left on the ground (and the rates would increase to pay for collection).
Today's attitude of blaming somebody else instead of accepting personal responsibility won’t help Wirral’s rubbish problem.
If everyone took their own rubbish home the improvement would be enormous.
