NEARLY 30,000 people this year will be given the devastating news that they have blood cancer.

Blood cancers don’t discriminate and can affect anyone, at any time. They can be difficult to diagnose, complex to treat and are often lifethreatening.

That’s why blood cancer charities across the country are coming together to support the UK’s first Blood Cancer Awareness Month in September.

Anthony Nolan, Bright Red, Cure Leukaemia, Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and Myeloma UK work to ensure that every blood cancer patient in the country receives the best possible information, treatment and care.

Collectively the charities involved in Blood Cancer Awareness Month have spent many millions of pounds to improve treatment for blood cancer – but there is still more to do. We want to save the life of every single person with blood cancer – and we need your support to do that.

This September, sign up as a blood or bone marrow donor or raise vital funds for your chosen research charity, and help us give those affected by blood cancer the chance of a future.
