MARIE Curie Cancer Care is looking for people throughout Oxfordshire to help organise the charity’s biggest annual fundraising campaign, the Great Daffodil Appeal.

The Great Daffodil Appeal encourages everyone to give a donation and wear the charity’s iconic daffodil pin during March. All the money raised from the appeal will help the charity provide more free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes in Oxfordshire.

With planning for the 2014 campaign already underway, the local Marie Curie fundraising team are looking for volunteers to help in a variety of roles.

From organising local collections to delivering boxes of daffodils to shops in your area; by volunteering some of your time you’ll be helping local people with a terminal illness to get the care they need.

Marie Curie gives people with all terminal illnesses the choice to die at home. Our nurses provide them and their families with free hands-on care and emotional support, in their own homes, right until the end.

If you’d like to help your local Marie Curie fundraising team prepare for the Great Daffodil Appeal and make the 2014 campaign the most successful yet, then please contact Richard on: 0117 942 7132 or: Richard.scott@ mariecurie.org.uk or visit: www.marie curie.org.uk/daffodil for more information.
