With the arrival of (apparently French) ‘ travellers’ in Newport, we have truly become cosmopolitan, with groups from just about every corner of Europe wandering around the country unimpeded.
Who knows, if the word gets around how easy it is to just park up and stay virtually anywhere , with the added security of 24 hour surveillance, can we next expect Bedouin nomads with their herds of goats in Tredegar House or Mongol horse dealers on the’ steppes of Machen Mountain’?? Nothing would surprise me these days.
