A garage was set on fire this morning in a suspected arson attack.
Firefighters were called to the single storey building used for storing cars in St Aubyn’s Road in Fishersgate at around 3am.
The flames completely gutted the garage, destroyed a Volvo car inside and damaged two nearby buildings.
Crews had extinguished the blaze by 5am.
A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue said the fire was believed to have been started deliberately.
