I was certainly entertained by the interview (The Argus, November 22) with Glynn Jones, the chairman of the West Pier Trust.
This must have been a spoof about the future of the i360 supposedly paying for the rebirth of the West Pier and the regeneration of the area of Preston Street.
I find it extremely amusing that once up and running the i360 will be paying the West Pier Trust an annual rental and a percentage of the income it receives.
Reading this interview made me wonder if it was April Fool’s Day.
