A man has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A27.
The A27 near Chichester was closed in both directions after a car crashed into the central reservation.
The fire brigade was called just after 2.15pm today (December 2) to the A27 between the Portfield roundabout and Oving crossroads.
A second car was involved with one man treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
The Chichester by-pass was closed in both directions to allow the air ambulance to land.
The entire stretch of the A27 between the A285 Halnaker junction and the A259 Bognor Road junction was closed as of 3.05pm.
A spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service there was no one trapped in any of the vehicles.
Paramedics and police are also at the scene.
