Funeral director steps in to help family give baby's grave a headstone

A mother finally has somewhere to mourn her baby girls after a funeral director donated a headstone.
Simone Muzzell’s baby Kaycee was stillborn at 21 weeks in 2005. Her second daughter Destiny died five days after being born 12 weeks premature.
Simone, 25, was unable to afford a proper headstone and raised £800 in a sponsored walk earlier this week.
After reading about her situation in The Argus funeral director Philip Evans, of Sussex Funeral Services, offered to make up the difference – more than £2,000.
GD Baker Monumental Stone Works and Go Botanica florists also gave their services for free.
The headstone has been placed at City Cemetery on Bear Road, Brighton.
Simone, 25, said: “It’s amazing, it’s such a weight off my mind.
“It’s really lovely, a beautiful place where I can and spend time to remember my babies.”
Simone has been supported by friends Kayley Southwell and Terri Knott and mother Sandra Taylor.
