An 86-year-old pedestrian has died in hospital after an accident.
Victor Gibb was hit by a pink Audi A3 driving north on the A2004 Southgate Avenue in Crawley on November 23.
The pensioner was trying to cross the road at the traffic lights at the junction with Tilgate Way shortly after 3pm when he was hit.
Mr Gibb, of Tilgate Way, Crawley, was taken to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill to be treated for fractures to his hip and shoulder.
He died three days later after developing problems following his surgery.
The 29-year-old woman driver from Crawley was not injured.
