A driver is still in a critical condition in hospital after a car crash that closed a road for several hours.
At about 3pm on Tuesday (December 3) two cars, a silver VW Caddy van and a black VW Golf, collided at the junction of Sefter Road and Hook Lane, Bognor.
The 57-year-old driver of the Caddy from Southampton was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to St Richards Hospital.
The driver of the Golf, a 54-year-old female from Bognor, suffered slight injury.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw what happened to call them on 101 or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting Operation Stanstead.
Inspector Paul Wood said: "I would like to thank the members of the public that stopped to administer first aid to the drivers of both vehicles. I would also like to thank the local community for their patience, whilst the roads were closed and the collision scene was examined."
