A trio of Brighton youngsters kicked off their festive season by turning on a street's Christmas lights.
David, 14, Amy, 15 and Harry, 10, switched on the first lights in Circus Street, Brighton, on November 28.
The lights hang on a new 14 meter elm tree which has been planted outside the old municipal market building, where a new community space has been created by developers Cathedral Group.
The firm submitted a planning application last month for new buildings The Dance Space, a new home for South East Dance, and a library and teaching building for the University of Brighton.
