Two men have been charged after police discovered 74 cannabis plants worth £30,000 in a flat.
On Monday December 2, officers seized the production site a flat in Battle Road, St Leonards.
Stephen Ward, 50, an antiques dealer of Filsham Road, St Leonards has been charged with the production of cannabis and possession with intent to supply cannabis.
Ward appeared at Brighton Magistrates Court on December 4 and has been bailed until January 4 to appear at Lewes Crown Court.
A second man, Shaun Bayard, 22, a housekeeper, of Battle Road has been charged with production of cannabis.
He will appear at Hastings Magistrates Court on January 8.
DC Alex Campbell from the East Sussex priority crime team said: "Seizures like this help to keep cannabis off the street and causing harm to the people of Sussex.
“We take the production of cannabis very serious and will work to arrest and prosecute offenders."
