Pop duo the Rizzle Kicks are backing a cheeky Christmas drive to raise awareness of testicular cancer.

The Brighton band posed with special testicle-shaped decorations as part of the male cancer charity Orchid’s “Check your Bauballs” campaign.

The campaign is designed to highlight the signs and symptoms of testicular cancer, while raising money for life-saving research into the condition.

Testicular cancer survivor Ryan Walshe, 24, from Brighton, was 20 when he noticed a problem and immediately went to see his GP.

Tests confirmed it was cancer, which had already spread to his lymph nodes and spine.

He said: “Doctors said if I had not got medical help when I did, I wouldn’t have seen my next birthday.

“Guys, please don’t be shy about asking for help. If I had been, I wouldn’t be here now.”

Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men aged 15 to 35 and 98% of cases are curable if caught early.

The decorations are available for £5 each from House of Fraser or at www.checkyourbauballs.com.
