A former Sussex Police police community support officer (PCSO) has pleaded not guilty to seven counts of theft and one charge of misconduct in public office.
Alexis Scott, who was employed by Sussex Police at Gatwick at the time of the alleged offences, denied the charges at Canterbury Crown Court today.
The 39-year-old, of High Grove, London, is accused of stealing £15,000 from passengers at Gatwick Airport in April.
She was arrested and questioned over the allegations in May, Sussex Police said.
Scott was released on bail and the case was adjourned until Friday when a trial date will be set.
