that Santa Bus is really peeing me off with the volume of it's music, which would be heard right accross the city, even if it were parked up in one place!

The literal ramblings of both 'reporters' and posters alike brings so much amusement to so many.

And yet you then chose to respond yourself?

Do you appreciate the Gordian knot into which you are tying yourself?

Having said that I do appreciate the advice on how to productively use my time from a person who went on to their local newspaper forums, took time to write a complaint about a musical Santa bus... then revisited the same article to see if anyone had responded to them... then wrote a message complaining that someone had responded.

Your lessons in meaningful personal time management are duly noted and I respect what I am sure are the many great personal achievements you have delivered to the world.

Thank you, I am an old man who has indeed achieved many things in life!

Once commenting here, it seems natural to watch for the retorts, as you yourself have indulged in, it's a fascinating part of what the forming of a discussion in forums like this are all about, otherwise there would be no point to them.

Duly note all you like, I still hate hearing the 'Santa Bus', as I have the misfortune to live amongst the sreaming sprogs that follow the thing!
.....and please don't be patronising beyond you capabilities, it obviously doesn't suit you!

Well it was either mock your poor spelling or mock your miserable and depressing outlook on the world, devoid of joy, empathy or Christmas spirit.

In the spirit of the season I decided to stick with your abuse of apostrophes, because if we start discussing how an old man could actually become angry at that the noise of a Santa bus driving around town bringing joy to kids at Christmas... well I think that would just depress everyone.
Thank goodness most people aren't like you.
