Six pumps were called to battle a large flat fire in Worthing last night.
The flat on Sailsbury Road was severely damaged in the fire.
Ten fire officers entered the building with breathing apparatus after being called out at 8.30pm last night.
Two fire hydrants, two high-pressure hose-reels and three thermal imaging cameras were used to get the fire under control.
Everyone in the building was accounted for and there were no reports of injuries.
A stop message came in at 10.30pm.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the incident was left with police.
