Seagulls supporters will be able to take a walk down the incident-packed memory lane of their beloved club at a newly-opened museum.

Former manager and club ambassador Alan Mullery officially opened the Brighton and Hove Albion museum in the North Stand of the American Express Community Stadium last night.

The museum has been in the planning for 15 years and is the “labour of love” of club historian and current museum curator Tim Carder, who has been storing a lot of the memorabilia in his own home in the long run-up to the opening.

Speaking before the opening last night, Mr Carder told The Argus the museum had been a “lifetime ambition” and he was certain to be “quite emotional” once the doors to the new facility were opened.
