Two teens tried to rob a taxi driver.
At 5.50pm on Saturday, December 14, the taxi driver was parked in the car park at the Meridian Centre, Peacehaven, when he was approached by the pair, wearing dark hooded tops, who attacked him and tried to steal his cigarettes and wallet.
The 32-year old driver from Hove managed to defend himself but received facial injuries for which he was treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
The suspects ran off in the direction of the main South Coast Road and then out of sight.
Call Sussex Police on 101.
