A woman has been injured after being struck by the wing mirror of a passing car.
The 55-year-old victim, from Horsham, was hit by a silver car outside The Star Inn in Crawley Road, Horsham, at about 10.15pm on Thursday December 12.
The car, which the victim told police may have been a Mercedes, did not stop after the collision.
PC Wayne Dixon said: "Fortunately the victim only suffered bruising in the collision but that is no excuse for the car driver not to have stopped."
Anyone with information should call 101 quoting serial 1418 of 12/12 or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
