A driver has died after his Peugeot collided with another car on Friday evening (December 20).
The 23-year-old man from Kent was travelling along the A264 Holtye Road between East Grinstead and Tunbridge Wells shortly before 8.30pm.
His Peugeot 206 hit a black Audi A3, which was travelling in the opposite direction, some 600 metres west of the road's junction with Shovelstrode Lane.
The driver died at the scene while the two men in the Audi, both 21 from East Grinstead, were taken to Brighton’s Royal Sussex County Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Anyone who saw what happened is asked to call Sussex Police on 101, quoting Operation Annesley, or email: collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
