Hopeless romantic looking to find love he spotted in Brighton bar

The Argus: Hopeless romantic looking to find love he spotted in Brighton bar Hopeless romantic looking to find love he spotted in Brighton bar

A ‘hopeless romantic’ has appealed in The Argus to find a “beautiful blonde lady” who caught his eye in a city centre bar.

Nick was in cocktail venue All Bar One in Pavilion Parade, Brighton, when he spotted the woman.

But rather than walking over to her and asking for her number, he allowed her to leave.

Now he is regretting his actions and has appealed in The Argus for help.

MORE:

He paid for an advert in the newspaper on Thursday, December 19 to find the unnamed heartbreaker.

However, so far, no one has responded to his calls.

We are keen for him to find the woman of his dreams so have replicated his advert below.

The romantic advert, described as a “Missed Connection”, said: “Were you in All Bar One?

“Are you about 5’ 5” blonde, with a beautiful smile – drinking with another taller female friend and about six guys (from work by the looks of it)?

“You looked at me (6’ 2”, fair haired, blue shirt, having a drink at the bar with my tall female friend) over your shoulder as you left.

“If so please get in touch – you looked lovely.”

He added: “I am not crazy I promise – just a hopeless romantic.”

All Bar One, Brighton said: “We always knew All Bar One was the perfect place to meet people. Let’s hope there’s a happy ending to this search for love.”

Nick, who loves sailing and surfing, was in All Bar One on 10.30pm on Friday, December 13.

Was it you? Email news@theargus.co.uk or call 01273 544 519.

I fail to see anything 'romantic' about becoming obsessed with someone purely because you found them attractive. He doesn't know anything about her; only that she is "beautiful" and "blonde". She could be married with children for all he knows. She could have no common interests with him, or have a completely incompatible personality. If I were her, I would not be at all flattered by the attentions of such a shallow man.

Perhaps she glanced at him as she left because he had been staring at her like a creep all evening.

This song by The Vogues springs to mind. Worth checking out. Guy sounds like a creepo, weirdo, desperado if you ask me.

There is someone
Walking behind you,
turn around, look at me.
There is someone
Watching your footsteps,
turn around, look at me.

There is someone
Says they loves you,
Here's my heart, in my hand
Turn around, look at me, understand.

There is someone
Standing beside you,
Turn around (turn around),
Look at me (look at me).
There is someone
To love and guide you,
Turn around (turn around),
Look at me (look at me).

I'll be waiting
for now and forever
for you, to come to me.
Turn around, look at me,
turn around, look at me.

I'll be waiting
For now and forever
For you to come to me.
Turn around, look at me,
Turn around (turn around), look at me
