A popstar was given all he needed for his Christmas shopping courtesy of a charitable business employing people with disabilities.

Boyzone front man Ronan Keating was in town for a concert at the Brighton Centre when he was struck by impulse to give the rest of his band personally embroidered jumpers for Christmas.

The jumpers were embroidered by Able and Willing, a Brighton and Hove City Council backed business where 90% of its employees have a disability. Able and Willing fulfilled the celebrity order on the same day and delivered the gifts to Mr Keating in time for the concert.

Business manager Jeff White said: “His visit and the very nice things he has said about our work gave everyone here a big festive lift.”
