The Princess Royal will visit firms in Brighton and Hove on Thursday.

The princess will visit the offices of Kineo in Church Street, Brighton and the Carers Centre in Hove.

City & Guilds e-learning company Kineo moved into its new offices in Sovereign House last year.

The Princess Royal, who is president of the City & Guilds London Institute, will formally open the office and present certificates to long-serving employees at the firm.

The firm was named E-learning Company of the Year Award in Britain last year and now employs more than 120 people.

The Carers Centre in Bedford Place supports people who are anyone caring for a partner, relative or friend who needs help because of illness, disability, substance misuse or old age. It was established in 1988 as a drop-in centre in Hove.

At least she works - I wouldn't want her job for all the money in the world. Imagine having to be constantly looking interested in things you are not and having to make small talk with total strangers all day every day.

What a pity the headline didn't just say, "British Equestrian Olympic Team Member visits the City."

Oh the poor woman....!...I'll take her job over mine any day of the week..., I'm intelligent and better looking than she is and I do usually find other people interesting even when they are socially inferior...so I'm well qualified......when can I start ...?
