A BREIGHTMET man who stole a Snickers bar and a bottle of Lambrini from a Bolton newsagents has been jailed for 18 weeks after breaching a community order.
Paul Jones, aged 44, of Mobberley Road, pleaded guilty to the £5.38 theft from Shiree News on December 8.
A community order and curfew was imposed for the theft, but Jones was brought back to Bolton Magistrates’ Court for breaching the order several times between Christmas Eve and January 2.
Jones was sentenced to a four-week jail term for a separate theft from Shiree News on January 2. He also triggered a 10-week suspended sentence, which was imposed in May last year when Jones admitted stealing a crate of beer from a Bargain Booze shop.
