Gusting winds sweeping across the county led to scores of emergency call-outs on Saturday evening.
A band of strong wind travelling from Bognor in the west to Rother and Crawley blew several trees onto the roads and damaged structures.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service has had a flurry of reports starting at around 4.30pm this afternoon.
These include a collapsed chimney in Horsham, a tree on a property in Crawley, electric cables down in Copthorne, a shattered window in Haywards Heath, and loose tiles in Heathfield.
It has also received at least seven reports of trees on the roads.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said it had also recieved a flurry of wind-related reports.
Some properties were also left without power.
Police advised drivers to take care particularly on minor roads.
