A hospital has been given a clean bill of health following a visit from inspectors.
The team from the Care Quality Commission carried out the unannounced check at Worthing Hospital in December.
They found the hospital was meeting all five standards relating to the care and treatment of patients.
This included respecting and involving people using its services, their care and welfare, cleanliness and infection control and staffing levels.
Inspectors checked the hospital's accident and emergency department, the children's ward and two adult inpatient wards.
The hospital is run by Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which is also responsible for St Richard's in Chichester and Southlands in Shoreham.
Trust chief executive Marianne Griffiths said: “This report sends a clear message that staff at Worthing Hospital are skilled, caring, committed, and take a real pride in the work they do.
“Of course we cannot get everything right, every time, but the inspectors found that our staff were well motivated and well informed.”
Southlands and St Richard's also received good reports following inspections last year.
