THE chairman of Trafford charity Adoption Matters Northwest, David Cracknell, is set to be recognised by the Queen with an OBE.
David, 66, has chaired the board of Adoption Matters Northwest , which has an office in Hale, since 2005 and has dedicated his life to helping disadvantaged children and supporting families throughout Greater Manchester.
David says: “I am delighted. It is an honour. Although, I couldn’t have achieved this without the support from my own family. We achieved this as a family team.”
AMNW Chief Executive, Norman Goodwin, added: “We’re immensely proud of David and his achievement. His support and commitment to our charity has been unfounded and we are incredibly lucky to have him on board.”
