A walker rescued from a Welsh mountain was wearing jeans and trainers, it has been revealed.
The Sussex man was rescued from Snowdon in Gwynedd overnight after becoming lost in gales snow and heavy rain over the weekend.
Mountain rescuers and an RAF helicopter were called to find the 37-year-old.
The operation, described as "very much avoidable", involved 21 rescuers.
