Rumbles from an earthquake were felt in Brighton this afternoon.

The minor quake was recorded off Le Havre at 3.32pm, recorded as a 3.2 magnitude tremor. 

The resulting rumblings were felt along the Sussex coast. 

David Nash, who works in the University of Brighton's Cockroft building said it was the first time he'd felt an earthquake at work.

First time I've felt an earthquake at work. 15.32 today, earthquake just off Le Havre, magnitude 3.2, gentle rumbling in Brighton.

And his colleague James Cole said he felt the building rumbling.Building just started rumbling, was there an earth tremor in Brighton a few minutes ago?
