A 14-year-old girl was indecently assaulted as she walked home from school The victim was walking in The Boulevard towards the roundabout at Palatine Road, Worthing, at 5.20pm on Friday, January 24, when she passed a man who touched her as she went past.

The girl walked away quickly and the man followed for a short time before stopping.

The man was white, 5' 8" and skinny build with collar length brown hair. He was in his late 30s or early 40s and was wearing a light beige jacket and trousers.

PC Irene Macintosh said: "This was a frightening experience for the victim on her way home from school.

"The Boulevard is a very busy road and I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident or the man behaving suspiciously in the area. I would also urge anyone else who may have been approached by him to contact us."
