Thousands of pounds worth of cigarettes and alcohol were stolen from a shop.
The Sid's store in Station Road, Burgess Hill, was broken into between 2.30am and 3.30am on Sunday.
Police have now released CCTV footage of a man they would like to talk to in connection with the incident.
PC Mark Norman said: "The thieves stole a large amount of cigarettes and alcohol and may have had a vehicle to load the items into.
"I'd like to speak to anyone who saw or heard the burglary taking place or anyone acting suspiciously around Sid's before the break-in.
"I'd also like to speak to anyone who sees cigarettes or alcohol being offered at a low price and which could have been stolen."
Call Sussex Police on 101.
