MARY Shelley’s unrivalled gothic story turns modern sci-fi in this latest cinematic remake.

For 200 years the monster, here christened ‘Adam’, has roamed the earth, cast from the corpses of eight attractive hunks.

While searching for his purpose in life, Adam (Aaron Eckhart) meets demons and the gargoyles embroiled in an age-old conflict between good and bad.

Fronted by Bill Nighy, the demons are desperate to get their mitts on Adam to see if they can use his soulless body to resurrect their late demon pals, and have also got hold of Adam’s creator’s diary to find out how to create more monsters.

The gargoyles, meanwhile are busy trying to keep peace on earth.

When a young scientist (Yvonne Strahovski,) finds out what the Demon Prince (Nighy) is up to she helps Adam get the diary back and abort the demon prince’s plans.
