A man was left with critical head injuries after a crash in Bexhill.

The 81-year-old reversed into two parked and a lamppost in The Marina, Bexhill, at the junction with Sackville Road and opposite the De La Warr Pavilion at 7.35pm on Friday, January 31.

The driver of the black BMW 330 convertible sustained a head injury and was taken to the Conquest Hospital at Hastings where he is in a critical but stable condition.

Sergeant David Morgan of the Sussex Road Policing Unit at Polegate said; "If you saw what happened please contact us via 101 or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting Operation West."
