  • Well, what a day to come into work to. The biggest news today, is that a big chunk of the West Pier has fallen into the sea during last night's gales.

Apologies for the lack of updates - it's been a very busy day behind the scenes. Here's a non-weather story which is doing quite well you might be interested in: Two porpoises found washed up on the Sussex coastline.

Our photographer Simon Dack is just uploading pictures now. He says that there were people almost in tears on the beach this morning.
