two questions from me..1. Why have the Police abandoned beat policing which was successful in not only preventing crime but also nurtured a relationship between the public and and the Police? 2. Since the above was abandoned the Police now dress like a cross between a football steward and a paramilitary soldier...do you realise that by not looking like a policeman in the tunic and helmet you have lost a lot of respect?

What are your views on the proposed Dedicated Sexual Violence teams for Sussex Police and how do you think they should best work with external agencies to improve the often traumatising experience faced by those reporting rape or other forms of sexual violence?

Martin, Do you think it's fair that you're able to retire on a full pension in your early 50s when most of the people paying for your pension can only dream of being in such a beneficial position?
